Amy Evans

On July 26, 2016, Amy Evans, 93, passed away peacefully at Howard County General. She was born March 3, 1923. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Evans. Amy and Frank were born in Manchester, England. In March of 1957, Frank and Amy came to the United States with their three daughters for better opportunities and settled in Dundalk, MD.
Amy is survived by three daughters: Lorraine Gerczak and husband, Mike, Gail Collins and husband, Richard, and Carol Gross and husband Joe. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, that she enjoyed spending time with.
Amy loved baking, knitting, and search a word books. She especially loved watching football and baseball. Amy was a wonderful, giving person with a great smile. Amy also has a twin sister Betty, and sisters Trudy and Muriel still residing in England.
In the last two years, Amy enjoyed going on five cruises, and to the casino once a month. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbors. She was truly loved and an inspiration to others.
