Vera (Karlak) Anuszewski

Vera was born in Mt. Carmel, PA on September 25, 1922 to Andrew & Eva Karlak.  She moved to Baltimore in the early 1940's to work at Glen L Martin and became part of the infamous Rosie the Riveter team.  It was there that she met the love of her life, Frank Anuszewski.  They married in 1945 and remained happily married until his passing in 2005.  She also worked at American Can Company and retired after 25+ years of service.  She is a member of St Casimir's Parish in Canton, where she was a resident since moving to Baltimore.  She is survived by her son, Father Damian (Francis) Anuszewski O.S.S.T., her daughter Diane and son-in-law David Bittman and her buddy and four legged companion Maggie Magnolia.  The remaining family also includes numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation at Kaczorowski Funeral Home, P.A. 1201 Dundalk Avenue on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 10 AM, at St. Casimir's Church.  Interment to follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  KFHPA.com
