Robert Lee Denny

On Friday, September 8, 2023, ROBERT "BOB" LEE DENNY, 85, Loving husband of Louisa, Devoted father of Deanna Colassard, Cherished grandfather of Cassandra Colassard. He is survived by his beloved brother James M. Denny, wife Evelyn and two daughters Linda and Debbie; sister Frances Hinte, husband Donnie and daughter Kim; sister Drema Johnson and her two children Trena and Matt; and his late sisters Shirley Riffe and her two daughters Shirleen and Darleen and Dorothy Bostick and her two sons Bernard and James. Robert is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Bob, born in Pemberton, WV. to James Denny and Evelyn Cox Dresich, worked 42 years at the Bethlehem Steel plant after serving in The United States Army and The Maryland National Guard. He enjoyed fishing with his brother and playing horseshoes and eating crabs with friends and family. He played softball with his Bethlehem Steel buddies. I think we can all say that his favorite past time was mowing the lawn, taking care of his flower garden and planting his tomatoes and cucumbers. He took trips with Mom to Roanoke and his sisters and brother to Vegas, Niagra Falls, places in Tennessee and other casinos. One of his traditions was taking his granddaughter, Cassie, to Laurel Race Track every Thanksgiving. If he had any down time, it was always making up a green table and watching the Terps, Ravens and the Orioles!

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Kaczorowski Funeral Home, P.A.. Interment Private.
