Rev. James Franklin Thomas III

Peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2018, Rev. James Franklin Thomas III, beloved husband of Myrna Thomas; loving father of Allyson, James Franklin Thomas IV, George, Lane, Naomi, Joy, and Maggie. In 1989, James and his wife founded The Victory Gospel Band Outreach Ministries to assist military veterans and Baltimore’s homeless. He also served in the army’s 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles during the Vietnam War. He was serving as Chaplain in the American Legion, Post 38, at the time of his passing. A unique soul, James was very funny, and loved playing practical jokes on his friends. He could light up a room, as exemplified by his weekly Saturday promenade through North Point Flea Market. Everywhere he went, everyone knew him. James will be dearly missed.

Visitation at Kaczorowski Funeral Home P.A.,  on Tuesday February 20, 2018  from  3-5 & 7-9 PM with a Funeral Service performed by the American Legion Post #38 at 7:30 PM, followed by Military Honors at 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that charitable donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Rev. James Franklin Thomas III.
