Pauline Eckenrode neé Mosolovich of Eastwood and Crucible Pennsylvania passed into light on April 18 at her home surrounded by family. At 93, she is predeceased sisters Annie Kwiatkowski, Kay Porter and brothers Steve, Tom, and George Mosolovich and Frank Moss and Mike Marcin. Pauline is survived by son Michael Eckenrode, daughter Linda Cox, son-in-law Bernard Cox, grandson photojournalist Joseph M. Giordano and niece Kathy Kwiatkowski. During her lifetime Pauline worked at Crown Cork and Seal, McCormick's, Western Electric, Crosse and Blackwell, and American Plastics. Her husband Stanley Eckenrode, a mechanic at Eastern Stainless Steel, the Baltimore company who provided materials for the St. Louis Arch, passed away in 1977. Pauline was a life-long Polka dancer who attended Polka Motion by the Ocean and Polka Spree by the Sea for over 25 years. She was a communicant at Our Lady of Fatima and Sacred Heart of Mary and was the Aunt and Godmother of St. Louis Archbishop Mitchell Rozanski. She was also an avid bowler at Eastpoint Fair Lanes and a member of the Red Hat Club.
