Peacefully on January 23, 2016, Helen Bessie Warehime (Baker), loving wife of the late Willard E. Warehime; loving mother of Libby Perine and husband Paul, Annette Tirabassi and husband Jim, and the late Willard "Gene" Warehime Jr. and his surviving wife Joann, the late Wayne Roger Warehime, and the late Claire Miller and her surviving husband Bernard. Dear grandmother of Julie Goins, Wayne Warehime, Gina Melvin, Tina Macis, Kelly Peppard, Matthew, Amanda and Joseph Perine, Jennifer Spahn, Jamie Hertzfelt and 16 great grandchildren. Sister of Carolyn Iwancio and predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters. Helen, Mayor of the 600 block of South Streeper Street, was a member of the Chatter Box Club, Hatton Center, the Red Hat Society, Served Meals on Wheels and was the oldest member of the Messiah English Lutheran Church.

Helen is part of the Story Corps Life Memory where her recordings are saved in the Library of Congress.

Visitation at Kaczorowski Funeral Home, P.A. 1201 Dundalk Avenue on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Prayer Service will take place on Saturday, 9:30AM, at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's name may be made to the "Helping up Mission" or Gilchrist Hospice.
