George Mavromoustakos

On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, GEORGE MAVROMOUSTAKOS, the son of Eleftherios and Athina (Darkos) passed away peacefully at his home. George was born on June 12, 1937 in Rhodes City, Greece.

George was one of 4 children and the only son. His sisters spoiled him and made sure he was always taken care of. This bond eventually lead him to the United States with one of his sisters, Hariklia Sigambris.

George is survived by his beloved wife, Tsambika Mavromoustakos of 52 years of marriage, his son Eleftherios Mavromoustakos, his daughter Athina Limneos & her husband Nick, and their children Yianni and Tsambika.

Throughtout George's 86 years, he was an extremely hard worker. He ran his dry cleaning business for 50 years on O'Donnell Street. In his free time he loved making his family and friends laugh with his many jokes. Everything he worked for went to his kids and grandchildren. There is nothing he would not do for his family.

Visiting hours at Kaczorowski Funeral Home, P.A., 1201 Dundalk Avenue on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4 until 8 P.M. Trisagion service on Friday at 7:30 P.M. Funeral Service will be held at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
