Gail Lavern Cornish

September 28, 1958 — April 30, 2014

Gail Lavern Cornish, daughter of Herman & Mary Cornish was born September 28,1958.   She was the oldest of five girls.  She departed this life after a brief illness and entered paradise April 30, 2014.

Gail received her early and secondary education in the Baltimore City School System .  She graduated from Morgan State University with a B.S. Degree in Nutrition Studies.
She received Christ at a young age and was baptized at New Saint James Baptist Church.  She later joined New Christian Fellowship Baptist Church where she was a member until she departed this life.

She accepted a position with the State of Maryland in the Family Investment Administration where she worked for fourteen years as a Case Worker until she retired due to illness.  She departure from this earthly home to a better place.

Gail was a very loving mother.  She loved her family and always provided for them.  She loved to cook and the children loved to eat.  She was always caring, compassionate and supportive in every family event, no matter what it was.  She was always there.

Gail leaves behind to cherish fond memories:  A mother, Mary Cornish, father, Herman Cornish.  Her three children Tonya Taylor-Hooker, Aaron and Ariel.  She has three sister (one preceded her in death Michelle), Vanessa, Carolyn and Brenda.  One brother Stanley Gary.  Four grandchildren, Lydell, Aaron Jr., Taylor, and Nya. Three great grandchildren. Three Aunts:  Audrey Stanley, Gertrude Cornish and Doris Gary.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a special God Daughter Marissa Kendall.
