Frank W. Kail, Jr.

d. March 25, 2020

On Wednesday, March 25, 2020, Frank W. Kail, Jr. loving father of Randolph Kail, Matthew Kail and wife Kelli; Beloved life partner of Susan Williams.  Grandfather of Bryce, Bradyn, Michael, Isabella and Liliana.  Brother of Helen Popik.  Uncle of Robert Popik and Kristen Popik-Eldar.

Visitation at Kaczorowski Funeral Home, P.A. 1201 Dundalk Avenue on Sunday from 1-5 PM.  A funeral Mass will take place on Monday, 10:30 AM, at St. Casimir Church.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Frank Kail’s honor to the Saint Maximilian Kolbe Fund of the Franciscan Friars Conventual, 12300 Folly Quarter Road, Ellicott City, MD 21042.

Throughout his life, Frank cherished his relationship with Father Gerald Kedziora, OFM Conv., one of the gentlest and holiest friars he had ever known. Prior to World War II, when Father Gerry was a seminarian in Poland, he met Saint Maximillian Kolbe, and the great saint’s spirit and example made an impression on Father Gerry that would inspire the rest of his life as a Franciscan priest. Just as a relic of Saint Maximillian Kolbe helped inspire Frank to aid in his recovery, gifts to the Friars’ Saint Maximilian Kolbe Fund in thanksgiving for the life and ministry of Father Gerry will continue to inspire and heal others.

Due to the current State of Emergency, the funeral home will be limiting the visitation to 10 persons in the building at any time.

Kaczorowski Funeral Home will be Live Streaming the Visitation and Services for Frank Kail, Jr..  Please check this obituary page during the advertised hours.
