Edward Borowy

On August 12, 2024, EDWARD M. BOROWY, beloved husband of the late Christine Borowy (nee Bizon), loving father of Susan Munsey and her husband James, and David Borowy and his wife Sandra, dear grandfather of Daniel Borowy and his wife Jessica, and Julie Pickett and her husband Joshua, and the late Christine Munsey and her surviving partner Dave Harman. Great-grandfather of Jasmine and Jasper Harman, Wesley and Emily Borowy. and Logan and Adalyn Pickett, loving brother of the late Marie Sweet and her late husband Johnny, the late Antoinette Davis and her surviving husband Jim, and the late Stanley Borowy and his surviving wife Marie Sandra. Dear brother in law of Marie Lohinski and her late husband Gerard. Uncle and great uncle of many beloved nieces and nephews.

Dad worked at Western Electric / AT&T on Broening Highway for most of his career. He worked for five years at Mercantile Bank where he learned computer skills. He supplemented earnings as a talented weekend musician leading the band “Danceables.” He was a true “jack of all trades, master of none.”

We remember him as a dedicated provider who along with mom, always drummed in us that family comes first. The grandkids especially remember him as having unending patience. He always demonstrated respect for all life and was a most humble and gentle being. He was life smart, and always approached life and its challenges with practical, common sense. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards, billiards, all manners of home improvements and appliance repairs.

Visitation hours at Kaczorowski Funeral Home, P.A., 1201 Dundalk Avenue on Wednesday from 3-7 P.M.. Funeral Mass in Holy Rosary Church on Thursday at 12 P.M. Interment to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward's name may be made to the Alheimer's Assoc. or the Catholic Charities of Maryland. www.KFHPA.com
