On November 22, 2011, Cornelius M. “Butch” Shipley, Jr. Beloved husband of the late Carolyn G. Shipley (nee Saunders) devoted father of Carolyn S. Jans and her husband William, Brian M. Shipley and his wife Michelle, and Douglas J. Shipley and his wife Cheryl, loving grandfather of Stacey Jans, Taylor Shipley, and Asia Shipley, dear brother of Katherine DeLong, Dorothy Abbott, Thomas Shipley, Virginia Anderson, Joseph Shipley, Lloyd Shipley, and the late Lucy Gerwig. Butch is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
