Barbara Joyce (Welky) Falkenstein

Barbara Falkenstein was born on April 17, 1937 in Baltimore, MD, to Frank Welky and Mollie Welky nee Dietz.
Barbara graduated from The Catholic High of Baltimore in 1955. She started her career as a phone add receiver for the Baltimore Sun Papers. She worked there until 1964.

Barbara married John Falkenstein on August 13 1960 The couple had 2 children, Lisa Thomas and Laura Falkenstein

Barbara was best known for cooking and had the ability to always make you feel safe.

Barbara is survived by Leo Thomas - grandson, Lisa Thomas - daughter.

Barbara is preceded in death by John Falkenstein - husband, Frank Welky - father, Mollie Welky - mother and daughter Laura Falkenstein

The service for Barbara Falkenstein will be held on May 20 at 11am directly at the grave site.

Burial: Oak Lawn Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
