Anthony William Darago, Sr.

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Anthony William Darago Sr, fondly known as "Twon," who passed away on April 10th, 2024. He was the beloved father of Cameron, AJ, and Cecilia, son of the late Christopher and Margaret Darago, brother of Lisa & her husband James Meissinger and the late Christopher Darago Jr. , endearing uncle to Ashley, Bianca, and Alex and loved by his extended family of Brandi, Amy, Stephanie and all his friends.

Twon brought joy and charisma wherever he went, creating many friendships that lasted throughout his life. From a young age, his face shone brightly with the biggest of smiles and the light twinkling in his eyes brought immeasurable happiness to those around him. He was always ready with a joke, a story, or some silly antics. His infectious laughter or crazy giggle echoed in every corner, brightening even the darkest of days for so many people. Twon was a man of incredible warmth, always ready for wild escapades and mischievous shenanigans that left us with an abundance of cherished memories.

Twon was a true sweetheart, with a wicked sense of humor that could lift spirits and have you laughing uncontrollably. He was always ready to reach out to help others, to listen, to just be there for them when they needed someone. He had such a big heart and truly cared for others.

Above all, Twon treasured his family and friends, sharing a special bond with his mother, his children, and his friends that were his family. His greatest happiness was his children and he loved them unwaveringly and expressed how much they meant to him and could not express the amount of pride he had for all their best qualities.

Twon's artistic soul had a passion for creativity, particularly in the art of drawing for which he earned his Associates Degree in graphic design. Through his artwork, he was able to express himself in ways that words could not, leaving behind a lasting legacy of beauty and inspiration, and a multitude of tattoos.

Though Twon may have left us too soon, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His laughter continues to echo in the memories we hold dear, a reminder of the light he brought into our lives.

As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the extraordinary life of Anthony William Darago Sr, "Twon," a man whose presence illuminated the world with love, laughter, and boundless joy.

May he rest in peace, forever remembered, forever cherished.
